An organized course of action to achieve a goal.

To promote or improve the growth of.

distributed workforce

A team with members dispersed regionally, nationally, and even internationally. Video conferencing, communication platforms, file-sharing portals, online productivity tools, and other technologies enable real-time collaboration among workers anywhere with an internet connection.

dream

A cherished aspiration, ambition, or ideal.

encore career

Work in the second half of professional life that combines continued income, greater personal meaning, and social impact. Source: Wikipedia

enterprise

The ability to think of new and effective things to do, together with an eagerness to do them.

glean

Extract (information) from various sources; collect gradually and bit by bit.

grow

To develop; become better or improved; broaden, extend, or increase: awareness, perspective, performance, influence, scope, reach, size, amount.

incisive

Intelligently analytical and clear-thinking.

intrapreneur

An intrapreneur is an employee who is tasked (often self-assigned) with developing an innovative idea or project within a company. Source: Investopedia

micro-enterprise

Micro-enterprises, as opposed to small and mid-size enterprises (SMEs, see below), are businesses that employ few people, if any at all. Source: Investopedia

mindset

The established set of attitudes held by someone.

multidisciplinary design

Integration of design categories including product (industrial design); environment (urban, architecture, interiors, exhibition, signage); presentation (film, video, slideshow); packaging; print; digital and social media.

promote

Further the progress of (something, especially a cause, venture, or aim); support or actively encourage.

relevant

Appropriate to the current time, period, or circumstances; of contemporary interest.

small to mid-size enterprise (SME)

Also known as a small to mid-size business (SMB), a small to mid-size enterprise (SME) is a company with revenues, assets or a number of employees below a certain threshold. Each country has its own definition of what constitutes a SME. Though small in size, SMEs play an important role in the economy and are generally entrepreneurial in nature, helping to shape innovation. Source: Investopedia

socialpreneur

A person who sets out on an entrepreneurial venture with the intention of addressing social issues and contributing to the common good. Socialpreneurships can be based on a for-profit, not-for-profit, or hybrid model, but revenue is typically used to support operational costs and develop programs to support target markets.

Acting together. People, groups, or companies working together in a creative, innovative, and productive manner.

value

The regard that something is held to deserve; the importance, worth, or usefulness of something.

values

A person’s principles or standards of behavior; one’s judgment of what is important in life.

value proposition

A simple statement that clearly communicates the product or service benefit you promise to deliver to your customers or clients.

venture
