Signage

As a New Yorker, parks are near and dear to my heart — from the expansive Central and Riverside, to our local dog run and PS87 playground, where we practically lived when my kids were young.

NYC Department of Parks and Recreation has been rolling out an updated visual identity including new sign designs.

The program is vast and complex as the department is steward of more than 30,000 acres of land across more than 5,000 individual properties — an impressive 14% of New York City.
